Upcoming Community Yard Sale at COS!

The Care Ministry presents Community Yard Sale to benefit Angel House orphanage in Haiti on September 20^th, 2014 from 8 AM -1PM in the Gym at Church of the Saviour, Wayne PA.

If you want to sell your stuff, register to rent a table for $25, by September 13^th, 2014 to Bea Gallagher or via COS website. 

If you would like to advertise your business at this event for a fee, please contact Bea Gallagher  bcg_ecc@yahoo.com. 

Please come and support the Haiti orphans! Either sell your things at a yard sale and consider donating some of your profits to Angel House, or come buy other people's previously owned items at our yard sale! If you would like to sell crafts, jewelry, or other items, that is fine! If you would like to hang a sign or give out coupons/etc to advertiser your business we will charge a fee for our fundraiser and you might get some new customers! 

We also need volunteers to help man some tables so if you can help with that please let us know! Again contact Bea at the above email address.

July Update: Praise, and Upcoming Events!

Hello Open Hearts Open Homes fans! 

Welcome to the July update on our Orphan Care committee. 

• PRAISE- we found an anonymous donor who gave the money needed for the largest, and most needed expense for the Solar Panels for the ThreeAngels orphanage in Haiti!! We are thrilled that God provided so quickly! 

• Now we are going to put together a team to go back to Haiti this Fall. Please let us know if you are are considering joining us for this trip (ohoh@cosnet.org). 

• We are planning to do a large fundraiser in September to raise money for Three Angels. We are thinking about a huge garage/thrift/craft sale at church with multiple families and vendors. More details to come! 

• It's almost back to school time! We will be collecting Backpacks and School Supplies for Foster Care school children very soon. Look for more details on that soon (via church bulletin most likely). 

• SAVE the DATE for November 2nd- Orphan Sunday. We will again host this national event at our church and have a luncheon after church to learn more about orphans and how we can help them. Stay tuned for more details to come! 

• Also if you have any interest in helping us with our Orphan Care ministry, fundraising, praying for adoptive families, and other ventures, please attend our monthly meetings- the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7pm in the Care Ministry house building on the COS campus (The building right on Wayne Ave, as you enter the campus on your Right).
