Orphan Table was great! We had a decent turn out of people, everyone seemed to enjoy the orphan food, and our guest speaker, Colleen Monfils, from Three Angels Board of Directors was amazing! She showed a video, answered questions, talked about the Three Angels ministry, and ways to get involved. Other people involved with Church of the Savior's Orphan Care Ministry sold some Jewelry and Decorations that helps the women of Haiti prevent their children from becoming orphans and supports the programs in Haiti.
So Orphan Sunday is over, you are asking yourself , now what? Or you missed our presentation and luncheon and want to know how to get involved. Here are some follow up options:
Sponsor: We are trying to raise 10 sponsors per orphan in the Angel House orphanage to cover the costs of care in the orphanage. Child support will likely last 1-2 years until children are adopted in the USA/Canada. Cost is $49/month It can be in one donation, monthly, paid individually, or get a group together to sponsor a child! Go to www.threeangelshaiti.org to sign up!
Donate: We are raising money for various work projects and needs around the orphanage like playground, porch repairs, etc. You can write a check to Church of the Saviour and indicate Three Angels or "Open Hearts Open Homes" on memo line and we will make sure the money gets to the orphanage! You can donate on Three Angels website as well, see above!
Help: Get involved with our planning and work with orphan care by attending our monthly meetings! Usually we meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7pm in the gatehouse building on campus.

Sell: Throw a Bijou Jewelry party and sell the Haitian jewelry and raise money for the orphan prevention program in Haiti! Look for more details on that at the Three Angels website
Go!: Come with us to Haiti in January 16-22, 2015 and help us with some projects their as well as get to meet the orphans and learn more about helping! We are also planning a Parent/Teen trip for the end of June/beginning of July 2015.
